The Healing Garden of Destiny started a little over 20 years ago. The foundation is based on healing in varied forms. The starting point was based in massage and body work however over the years many modalities and eastern medicine practices have been encorperated. Every person is different and their needs are different. Here at The Healing Garden each person is seen where they are in their journey and provided with their own treatment plan. Your body is not a one size fits all and that is what makes The Healing Garden unique.
Master V also formulates creams, lotions, balms and oils. They can be formulated just for you, or you can order her Master products. These have been formulated based on years of experience and knowledge from all aspects of holistic medicine and her years as a massage practitioner. Master V is the muscle doctor. She’s been well known for her work for over 20 years, accomplishing the impossible for so many people!

At The Healing Garden we offer Holistic Medicine and Alternative Therapies based in Eastern Medicine. They are based on all the primary aspects of both Asian Medicine and Ayurveda. Master V has trained in both traditional Chinese medicine modalities and at an Ayurvedic clinic. She has also studied the body so deeply in function that she has been called “the muscle doctor”. Master V has proved time and time again that there isn’t a muscle problem she can’t fix. In the two decades she has practiced she has worked closely with doctors, primary care providers and has a profound amount of modalities she has studied. She also specialized in fertility, pregnancy, birth, and post delivery within many aspects of health and wellness not just massage and body work. She is also has a high success rate with induction. Induction is based in healing modalities, including accupressure. Master V also specializes in craniosacral and lymphatic drainage and specializes in children of all ages.

Master V can now provide naturopathy appointments. They will be provided in office and some can be provided via telehealth. Please know that all intake forms must be completed before any telehealth visit if not services can not be rendered. This is a huge step in Master V’s career as it open more opportunities for you and a more in depth session. Whether it is for general health, specialized conditions or enhancing your health all of these modalities can be combined by Master V providing optimal health. Master V can also provide integrated health services and work closely with your primary care or specialist.

Master V was born in Philadelphia,Pa in a very Western medicine family. When she was born she was born with many birth defects. Science and medicine became a customary part of her life. From medicine to surgeries, many things were common practice. As she got older she starting questioning her health and wellbeing making the connection that she wasn’t getting better. In her 20’s she was diagnosed with Lupus, and then she was told that she didn’t have much time to live. Prior to these diagnosis she had a lot of experience in the medical field and had completed massage school. In massage school she found that in the body there are mechanics of healing that we can access. After her diagnosis she was determined to heal. She knew she had greatness within her and didn’t want to fall short on her inner calling. She studied herbs and expanded her knowledge in massage and the body and studied eastern medicine. A few years later lupus was no longer detectable and she in fact healed her body. Over the years she has made it her mission to educate and heal where she is able. She believes that education is the key to our own healing and welllness. In 2018 she was recognized by the national boards as a Practitioner of massage. A title she holds proudly. She became a board licensed instructor and taught at two colleges. Today she continues to study and her life goal is to open a full service clinic offering a safe place for healing, education and proper birth services. In the meantime she’s healing one soul at a time. She’s changing the world, the goal of her inner child. Currently Master V works out of the Chittenden County area of Vermont. She’s state licensed with previous board certifications, holistic doula, and working on more licenses to adapt to an ever growing and changing communities. Master V is asl friendly and creates a safe space for everyone.

What is naturapthy? Its defined in the area of whole body medicine. Its a form of care where the practitioner sees you as a whole, body mind and spirit. Each part affects and effects the others. It’s a cycle. Master V has teaching units on these topics. She breaks them into parts then integrates them together. In this particular aspect of medicine all parts are a focus to bring to homeostasis, balance and harmony. Without focus on one, you can’t focus on another. In NATURAPATHY we see the person and all of their experiences and daily life and formulate a treatment plan with the goal of homeostasis, something Master V remarkably mastered in massage and bodywork. For Master V this is just an addition to her services that she has already provided. In naturapathy the use of herbs and other modalities are put into a primary role. Whether this is based on dietary needs or acute illness needs. Master V with her vast knowledge of the body and healing modalities will find the best options to optimize your overall health and wellbeing.

Bodhi Treatment
The Bodhi Treatment is a specialized manual manipulation, energy work and treatment for one hour and 30 minutes. This is a combination of tcm and ayervedic techniques formulates in a way where it provides maximum detox, relaxed and lengthened muscles and specific specialized work in areas you can’t get anywhere else. Master V focuses on areas of the most over use such as neck and shoulders, glutes, hip flexors, and psoas and even the armpits and pecs. These areas hold the most tension and trauma. These sessions are designed for you and your needs and allows you to prolong your next visit. Instead of every four weeks as a routine you can make it 6-8 weeks. Master V uses her Master oil making the detox better and heals the muscles in the process. Master V adds energy Work to all of her sessions. This is a whole body mind and spirit manual manipulation.
Lotus Treatment
The lotus treatment is similar to the Bodhi treatment session but it is only and hour. You will get the same service but in a shortened amount of time.
Moxibustion Treatment
Modibustion is a treatment in tcm. It is a very universal treatment for all people. While Cupping is contraindicated for children and elderly and some medical conditions, moxibustion can be used. Cupping is also contraindicated For pregnancy. Moxibuston can be done in a variety of ways. The use of wormwood stimulates healing and is designed to flow over the meridian or organ that is affected.
Traditional Cupping Treatment
Traditional cupping is used for treatment and diagnostic use. Based on symptoms and concerns we can clear an organ or meridian line, or do a general treatment and start a detox. It’s very effective for myofacial work however cupping
brings the blood to the surface allowing a tonification. There will always be discoloring of the skin, however these are used for diagnosing the effected organ or meridian line. They are temporary. Cupping disclaimer, do not shower for 24 hours and drink warm drinks after session. Cupping is contraindicated for pregnancy, children under 7 and the elderly. Moxibustion can be used instead.
Prenatal Treatments
Master V provides many services for pre natal. The treatment is very specific and unique. Master V avoids all induction areas until 38 weeks. This includes wrists ankles the ears and a point on the shoulder. Master V has developed a very effective induction treatment which can be used in a massage. 100% success rate. Master V offers a pre natal package which even includes learning to massage your newborn. Master V also provides classes to help your through your pregnancy, your labor and even post partum. Master V can help facilitate breastfeeding and assist with issues, as well as teach you how to wrap your baby.
Energy work and other modalities
Master V is most known for her energy work and specialized modalities. Master V is remarkable at chakra alignments, clearing the meridians,
lymphatic drainage and craniosacral. She was the Eastcoast expert when she lived in Philadelphia. She specializes in tounge tie and other facial issues. There are so many opportunities for healing with Master V! Whatever you are looking for. She provides. Please, remember this is not a spa. Master V does not provide a typical relaxation massage that you will find at other places. She doesn’t pamper, and she does not provide couples massage. This is for facilitation of healing. There are places we can refer you to if you are looking for relaxation or couples massages as we do not provide those services. We also do not provide esthetic services, only culturally enriched healing treatments.
